Makers Of Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 Get Criticised For Reporting Fake Box-Office Numbers; Actor Reacts To Accusations
Akshay Kumar and the makers of his recently-released, Housefull 4, are being heavily criticised on social media for reporting inflated box-office collections and here’s how the actor reacted to the same!
Isn’t it time everyone reports Box Office numbers accurately! @KomalNahta @taran_adarsh ... accuracy of information builds CREDIBILITY which the movie industry needs so badly ... and not sure how long-to appease egos will Studios and all keep encouraging pumped up data on numbers

IMHO sir, collections don’t even need to be in the public domain. Only the stakeholders (the studios, talent, producers, distributors, exhibitors & tax collecting authorities / govt) need to know them. Putting them out does more harm than good to the sector.

Entire film industry is shocked after seeing HUGE manipulation in collection that too by a reputed distribution company. Getting lot of calls from industry folks congratulating me for speaking up against it , but if all wont speak up, this inflation game will never stop.
